A Viral Love Letter/Song, ‘I Hope This Gets To You’. The Songwriter Intended It For His Girlfriend. Reverse Speech From The Singer Indicates He Loves Her Too.

A viral love letter/song (90,000 You Tube views in the first 48 hours). Director/Editor Walter May recruited his roommates to put together this YouTube love letter/song for his girlfriend who had moved away to go to college. He and his friends from the music group, The Daylights, made the song and video in secret. Walter May wanted to see if through social media she would get his message of love for her.

“The video was created by a good friend of ours who was making a viral video & needed help with a song for it & thus “I Hope This Gets to You” was born!” – The Daylights via Facebook.

What Does Reverse Speech Analysis Reveal?

The song and video are intended for Walter May’s girlfriend from him. Although Walter May helped write the lyrics, the person singing the vocals of the song is not Walter May. The interesting thing to me is what is in the reversals. It appears the vocalist has a love interest for her too. It would seem, based upon the reversals, the title can have a double meaning.
