Shawn Smith on Reverse Speech Radio
The attached video is an interview with me on Reverse Speech Radio. I lay out the evidence from ghost investigations and recordings from humans that both ghosts and humans communicate in a bi-level language known as reverse speech. A reverse speech recording from a hypnotherapist calls it “backward state.” The Conclusion is this bi-level language in humans is one’s spirit communicating.
During a Life Between Lives hypnotherapy session, I also show evidence of past lives occur, and when the body dies, our spirit continues to the spirit world. Some call it heaven.
At the end of the interview I give examples of alien abductees.
Below is a rough transcript of what’s in the video, and you can use it to follow along to it.
Ghost Recordings With Reverse Speech
In summer 2003, my family and I went on a ghost tour in Boston. The tour included a hotel known as the Omni Parker House. A few months later, we stayed the night in the hotel. We received several recordings. One of them contains a dog bark and a woman saying, “That’s Petey.” In the reverse speech, she says, “Be still.” In the audio, she’s telling us the name of the dog that barked, and in the reversal, she’s essentially telling the dog to be quiet. This ghost recording also indicates that dogs have a spirit that continues, and they can also be vocal.

Girl: That’s Petey. Be still.
I emailed the ghost tour operator to inform him of our findings. He responded with the following,
I’m pretty sure that a family by the name of Dunphy owned the hotel in the 1960’s thru the 1970’s. The owner’s daughter had a dog that lived the hotel by the name of Petey. One of the night auditors saw the Dunphy girl walking the hall in the main lobby about 10 years ago. She died in the hotel about 20 years ago.
My wife would refer to paranormal activity in our home as being gremlins. One day my wife informed me that a light bulb had burnt out in one of the lights on her way out the door. I grabbed a recorder. And even though she had left, I kept talking as if she could still hear me saying goodbye. Here is the recording from a ghost the responded to be ing the one that burned out the lightbulb.

My first reverse speech found in a human.
In 2003 I was on the International Ghost Hunter Societies website when I came across a reverse speech link. The link went to David’s website. I barely finished reading the second paragraph of the article describing reverse speech in humans. I was blown away to learn that reverse speech occurs in humans as well. Just a few days earlier, my family had done an investigation at a cemetery. There was a recording of my son reading a headstone, and 3 spirits had responded. There was something about it I couldn’t put my finger on. The name being read is unintelligible. Perhaps the reason is to form the reversal.
My Son: (Unknown last name) is a very interesting name. A man with dark hair is, is the name of.
He is describing what one of the spirit’s look like, and it is his headstone he just read.
Ghost Responding to Reverse Speech.
May 2005. We had a paranormal event that occurred at our house. I was on the phone telling someone about it, with a recorder running, in case a spirit had something to say.
Shawn: An unusual occurrence here this morning. And part of my dreams was about uh [people in spirit to]. Who’s spirit talking?
Female Ghost: It’s Linda.
Without this reversal, it would be assumed the family spirit was making a random statement declaring who she was. The reversal indicates I was aware someone in spirit was talking. She understood my reversal and is answering in response to my question as to who was there.
A Past Life Hypnotherapy Session.
I have been regressed, through hypnosis, to a past life. As the story unfolds it becomes apparent that I’m in a city. I describe the city as being New York City in the 1930s. I’ve told the hypnotherapist that I see in that life, my spirit was with a young boy. The hypnotherapist’s name is Jonathan.
Jonathan: And where are you standing in relation to this city?
Shawn: I was [on the street, or off to the side].The acid for the urchin.
As a metaphor, “acid” would indicate that this is a horrible situation. It’s later in the session that it becomes known why. Notice the reference “the urchin.” It indicates it is the life of a child. This validates what I described seeing to the therapist. And by itself validates the existence of past lives. A spirit, although one with the body, still considers itself a separate being. “The urchin” references the child in the third person.
Jonathan: Allowed [this in to become impressed up]on your mind. Exactly like you witness it.
This reversal, “Exactly like you witness it.“, is an indication that he knows I’m experiencing a past life. And is giving me instructions to tell the story truthfully as I’m seeing it.
The therapist is now asking to progress to the time of that day where the boy dies.
Jonathan: Move to the moment of how your day ended. Three…
Shawn: It’s somewhere around that time. (The street scene.)
Jonathan: OK.
Shawn: [It’s making me emotional]. I’m sure I’m leaving here today.
The “I” in the reversal is my spirit referencing itself. This validates the scene as “acid” for “the urchin.” And “…I’m leaving here today”, is my spirit confirming that the boy is going to die, and my spirit will be moving on.
The session has progressed to where it is revealed I was struck by a car jumping the curb while I was selling newspapers. The death scene was paused to an earlier time. I have been to my parent’s house, and determined I’m 13, my name is Joseph, and my parents are proud of me.
Jonathan: Do you know why they’re proud of you?
Shawn: Again, it seemed like an occurrence. I think it has to do with that newspaper stuff. Like I got a job or something.
Jonathan: Oh very good, very good and how do you feel about yourself, Joseph.
Shawn: Good. I don’t feel that they pushed this to me to do that.
Jonathan: This is something you wanted to do.
Shawn: Yep. [That’s what it feels like. That’s], I went out and decided that’s what I wanted to do. Struck our life boots.
“Boots” metaphor. The reversal indicates the boy, and the spirit are working together to accomplish the goal of selling newspapers.
This session has moved forward back to the death scene. My spirit has now left the body that is dying, but still nearby observing. Just above the roof of the car.
Shawn: It seems like right now my upper [body is not pinned, but my lower]. But seems like there was an impact to my chest area. I will implement my job.
Shortly after this, it is revealed that there was a pre-agreement, before all of our arrivals in the bodies of that timeframe, between me as a spirit and my parents’ spirits in that life. They were to experience the death of a child. That reversal indicates that my spirit’s “job” was to honor the agreement.
Jonathan: Alright, [and as you’re looking at this], you’re body of Joseph…Settling a collusion.
Conversations are known to occur in reverse speech. “Settling a collusion.” is a response to “I will implement my job.” This indicates that the therapist’s spirit knows that agreements are made ahead of time, and understands what the job is.
Jonathan: What do you do after you witness the body of Joseph?
Shawn: [Right now I’m feeling that I’m disassociating with] him. I’m getting choices of my life right now.
While in the session, I had the feeling there was an option to stay with the boy, and he would live. I wanted to stay, but I chose to leave to honor our agreement in the end.
Life Between Lives / World of Spirit / AKA Heaven
To recap. In this session, I have just been regressed from a past life as a boy that had a job as a “newsy”. As a side note, my first job in this life was selling newspapers. The boy was killed while selling newspapers by a car that jumped the curb, pinning me/him between the car and the newsstand. After my spirit has left the body, I’m moved forward by the hypnotherapist to the world of spirit. Upon my arrival, I’m first greeted by a male looking figure, which is later revealed as my guide.
Shawn: I’m going to say he’s to my left, and we’re side by side.
Jonathan: Side by side. Do you feel if you are moving with him?
Shawn: [I feel that we’re moving together] Here lies the womb of my life path.
This is an astounding reversal that I can’t emphasize enough! It’s an amazing amount of information in so few words. The reversal shows congruency in I have described to the therapist my spirit had entered the spirit world. It indicates there is another place that our spirit goes to. “Here lies” indicates a location. I refer to it as the spirit world. Some would call it heaven! “Womb,” by definition, is a place where something is conceived or generated. As a metaphor, it means to nurture, grow. The Metaphors in Reverse Speech dictionary indicates to reference “Garden.” And “Garden” references a refuge, a place to grow, re-energizing. And “my” is my spirit referencing itself. “Life path,” “path” by definition, is a route or track between one place and another, and combined with “life” would be a path through life, as determined by the decisions one makes.
I have told the therapist that their seems to be some concern coming from my guide about the condition of my spirit.
Shawn: [I want to say I have energy iss]ues. Shaking the vessel.
I would say the “vessel” is the energy field that keeps my spirit’s energy contained. “Shaking”, I would describe as feeling like it being in flux.
Jonathan: Possibly, you were traumatically, you traumatically left the life…
Shawn: I think I’m OK, but, [there seems to be concern]. I feel like it’s from him. Yes, now give it to me straight
A congruent reversal that something is going on, and indicates I want to know how bad it is.
Soon after my arrival, I had described seeing a ball of blue light that seemed to be floating freely above, and in front of us. My guide is moving us towards, and then under the blue ball of light.
Shawn: [I don’t know. It was like he was] bringing me to that blue dot. So it can restore my light.
Once I got below this blue dot, it was like being in a shower of blue light that surrounded me. My guide never told me how bad my energy was. He just moved along beside me, guiding me to this area where this blue light restores energy, or “light”.
We had moved to an area where my spirit group was located. A spirit group works closely together in physical bodies to help each other achieve predetermined goals. One of the spirits in the group had come forward and was identified. This spirit was determined to be my grandfather in this life and father in Joseph the newsy’s last life.
Jonathan: I wonder if he will hold up a full length mirror in order for you to see yourself. If he is willing to do that, tell me what you see in the reflection of this full length mirror. What color are you?
Shawn: I don’t know if I’m seeing myself.
Jonathan: Tell me what you’re seeing. What color?
Shawn: [Again, I don’t know if I see myself, but] I was amazed with my light.
The reversal indicates I did see myself. A second reference of myself as “light”.
Jonathan: Do you emit a more female, or male energy?
Shawn: [I feel male]. I am light.
It would seem, according to my spirit, being male, or female is a human condition. And a spirit is “light”
My guide had brought me to a building. The building was white in color. White light seemed to emanate from the walls vs reflect light off of it. I had been trying to figure out what it was that I do as a spirit. I was having a hard time trying to figure it out. I’m describing what my guide is doing during this.
Shawn: Almost sitting back and waiting for me to get it, but [it’s not what I’m looking for. I want him to tell me] what the heck is going on. He wants to now laugh, and will not answer.
When going into a Life Between Lives session, one of the goals is to meet with your council. You’re asked ahead of time to write down questions that the hypnotherapist can ask you to get answers from your council. It was determined my council was not going to talk with me. Essentially indicating any questions I had, the answers were before me to figure out. The same thing my guide was doing. The therapist begins asking my spirit directly what I thought the answers might be. One of the questions I had was, why am I so fascinated by Reverse Speech?
Jonathan: What is the relevance of reverse speech in the life of Shawn?
Shawn: The first thing I got, and the only thing, was communication.
Jonathan: Communication.
Shawn: Yeah.
Jonathan: Communication from what source to what source? From what to what? From Shawn to self?
Shawn: No. I say it’s, there may be something else.
Jonathan: Communication and what way? Trust what’s coming through you.
Shawn: Like I already know it, but I’m taking it, and [it’s not coming out further yet, but it’s], I know that that’s the spirit talking. Sir, will you verify my answer?
Remember, this deep state of hypnosis is one’s spirit communicating. I have just told Jonathan that Reverse Speech is one’s spirit talking. The reversal is asking for Jonathan to verify the claim.
The therapist begins going on to the next question, but he “verifies my answer” in his reversal.
Johnathan: There were a couple of messa[ges with Reverse Speech that came] through with Shawn. Backward state, serving references.
The reversal from Johnathan is in answer to my reversal question to verify my claim that reverse speech is one’s spirit communicating. And his response is adding additional clarification. “Backward State”, or reverse speech, is a way to provide additional facts or information!
