84 year old Irma, a survivor from Nazi Germany now residing in the United States, called into a radio show on december 21, 2013 to tell the story of her father, and how he tried to stop the Nazis. As a result he spent most of his life in prison. She goes on to say that she regrets not taking action herself in the 60’s when the movement to silence those not deemed politically correct in their speech began. We had the most wonderful time when the Americans marched in. And it was freedom for us, but unfortunately we fell under Russian occupation when our area was exchanged with the Russians.
