Overview:
Natalee Holloway was 18 when she was last seen in the early hours of May 30, 2005, leaving an Oranjestad, Aruba, nightclub with Joran van der Sloot and two other men, brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe. She was visiting Aruba with about 100 classmates celebrating their graduation from Mountain Brook High School in suburban Birmingham, Alabama.
Joran van der Sloot has told a television station that he dumped Natalee's body "in a swamp on the north end of the island."
Aruba’s Chief Prosecutor Peter Blanken said. "It couldn't be true. We talked with several witnesses and reviewed several facts. The story is unbelievable and not true, in my opinion."
Analysis:
Although in Peter Blanken’s statement he says he doesn't believe Joran's confession is true, it would seem reverse speech analysis has revealed Aruba's Chief Prosecutor does believe van der Sloot did murder her. But he has no intention of having the marsh searched without the precise location of Natalee's remains being given.
